This tour is for those with special requests, or for travelers who have no idea what they want and would like to be taken by the hand by an experienced guide who will propose an itinerary that can still be adjusted. Below you can see some examples of previous bespoke tours in Tokyo that we have arranged.

 

No matter what you are looking for, with our Custom Tokyo Tour, we will see how we can help you have your perfect day(s) in Tokyo!

 

How does it work

 

If you want to book a custom tour, the first step would be to email us your specific request. We will see how much extra work would go into accommodating your request and give you a quote accordingly.

 

Please note that some requests would not cost more than our usual tours. Examples of this are; swapping one or two tour stops of a standard tour for something else; an off the beaten path day tour in Tokyo (depending on what you want); special dietary requests or accessible tours; kid-friendly itineraries; including seasonal sights like cherry blossoms or autumn leaves.

 

Other requests would be charged at a higher price than our standard tours. This would, for example, happen for tours that require a guide who is an expert in the requested subject, tours that require significant extra preparation, and/or tours that would incur extra expenses like entrance fees or travel expenses for the guide.

 

Examples of bespoke tours

 

Here are some examples of what we have done before:

 

*Custom crafted food tours for tour groups from the restaurant/hotel industry including cooking experiences and Q&A sessions with restaurant owners

 

*Especially kid-friendly tours

 

*We arranged a visit to a soy sauce factory including a factory tour with an interpreter

 

*We adjusted the program of the Kamakura Bicycle Tour in such a way that the customers could say hi to old acquaintances during the tour

 

*We did off the beaten path itineraries for day tours for customers who had been to Japan before

 

*We organized tours to/in Yokohama
