But where to start, and which destinations, highlights, and activities should you add to your program to enjoy Japan to the fullest? If you are not sure where to begin or if you have a rough idea of what you want but you are not sure on how to fill in the details, our detailed itinerary support for Japan is for you!

 

Overview of our itinerary service

 

Whether you are booking one or multiple tours through us or want to do the trip by yourself, you can make use of our itinerary support. Of course, customers do get discounted rates or can even get itinerary support for free depending on how much help is needed. This is an overview of the travel program help that we offer:

 

***Rough itinerary support: if you only have a few questions that don’t require hours of work to answer, this type of support is free for customers. For non-customers, we can refer you for free to other service providers who may be able to help you with your request or we can help you with rough itinerary support for 15 euro/worked hour. We will give you an indication of how many hours we likely need for your request.

 

***Detailed itinerary support for customers: if you book multiple tours with us, we are happy to give you ideas for the rest of your itinerary with you for free. Please note that we are a network of private guides and not a destination management company, so for flights and hotel bookings we will refer you to such a company.

 

***Detailed itinerary support for non-customers: if you would like us to help you plan your detailed itinerary for Japan without booking any of our tours, we charge 40 euro for detailed support per planned travel day.

 

Rough planning means that we give you an itinerary proposal for a day’s program according to your personal interests that can include famous tourist sights as well as lesser-visited but interesting spots. Detailed planning means that we will not only give you an itinerary proposal for several or all of your travel days according to your personal interests, but that we will also give you support for making any necessary reservations for activities* and restaurants**. Additionally, we can give you personalized advice on areas that are interesting as a hotel location for your program.

 

* we will let you know where to reserve activities, but you will make the actual reservations/pre-payments with the activity providers yourself

** with the exception of extremely popular restaurants that need concierge reservations. For these type of reservations we can refer you to an independent concierge if necessary.

Private tours in Japan

 

Even when you are a seasoned traveler who prefers to do things their own way, hiring a private local guide for one day is still a great activity. With a private guide, you can request an itinerary that exactly fits your interests or simply do one of our great tested and tried pre-set itineraries that have been received very positively by former customers.
